Karl Berg is one of the oldest German manufacturers of dental waxes. The company Karl Berg was founded in 1924 and looks back on decades of experience in production and sales. Due to the own development and production Karl Berg is able to react immediately to market demands. Model casting technology

Since its introduction, the model casting technique has developed into a comprehensive single dental component. Whether implant prosthetic superstructure, attachment-anchored prosthesis and clasp model castings, Karl Berg offers you high-quality products that are precisely coordinated with each other.

Preparation wax in various thicknesses and block-out wax form the basis for preparing the model. Undercuts are blocked out in this way and free-end saddles are underlaid to achieve the optimum fit.

Optionally, the model can now be duplicated with the green duplicating material Triplegel on agar-agar basis, or the addition-cured duplicating silicone and the investment model can be created with the phosphate-bonded Bergvest precision investment material.

The organic dipping hardener is used for hardening and surface smoothing of the investment model. The model casting range from Karl Berg includes a large selection of different wax qualities, colors, and thicknesses, which impress with their good adaptation properties and maximum compressive strength.

With smooth and structured casting waxes, various grid-mesh and wax retentions, clasp profiles and wax profile sticks, the model casting can now be created.

The finished work in wax is now pinned with wax wire, embedded, and cast with model casting alloy. After devesting, blasting, separating, and polishing, you have the finished model casting. The products are easy to use and produce excellent results. The key to your success!
